Spring Fling

Spring is in the air! “All Things Nature” is the theme for Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists’ first Earth Day event called LNWC Spring Fling. This free community event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at LangTree Lake Norman, 401 Langtree Road in Mooresville, off of I-77’s Exit 31.

Featured will be exhibits from local nurseries, landscapers, outdoor specialty stores and outdoor-themed organizations, as well as music, food, beverages, art, and hands-on nature crafts. Participants can learn how to put together a wildlife-friendly yard. Experts will speak on subjects like “Bird-Brained Gardening” and “Aliens Among Us.”

A chapter of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation, LNWC’s mission is to protect and enhance wildlife habitat in the Lake Norman area. Just last fall, LNWC helped LangTree Lake Norman get its designation as a Certified Wildlife Habitat. For more information click HERE, contact Don West at or call 704-231-3317.
