Help Build Osprey Nests & Heron Platforms
On December 13, 2014 we're getting together at Lancaster Custom Dock and Lift Systems, 1156 Perth Road, Troutman, NC 28166, to build heron platforms and osprey nests. We need volunteers, so if you are interested please signup to this event to let us know that you are coming. We'll start at 9:00 am and plan to finish up around 1:00 pm.
Bring work gloves (leather preferred) and safety glasses.
If you have a set of pliers, wire cutters, and wrenches bring those too. If the weather turns bad or our schedule changes, I'll notify those who have signed up.
Use the following link to sign up.
We're looking for volunteers to help plan and produce a brand new event. On April 18 at LangTree of Lake Norman, we will host our very first (Habitat Fair, Wildlife Spring Fling?)........ it's so new, we don't even have a name yet. Our emphasis will be on all things "Nature": wildlife, plants, outdoor activities, landscaping, speakers and instructors on numerous nature topics, and a host of youth activities. Our breadth of attractions is limited only by our imagination.
If you are interested in helping to create this fun event, contact Don West firstname.lastname@example.org or 704-231-3317. We want your ideas!
