Welcome to the Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists (LNWC) web site. We are a chapter of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation (NCWF) - a community based organization established for the purposes of environmental education, appreciation of wildlife and natural history, and conservation of wildlife habitat and natural resources.

Annual Oyster & Shrimp Fest

Plans are well underway for this year’s Wildlife Oyster & Shrimp Fest, set for Saturday, Sept. 20th at the new LangTree Lake Norman. Our committee works hard each year to make the event even better. One thing that needs no improvement is the Big Daddy’s menu – steamed oysters and shrimp. Come join us for an evening of fun, food, and entertainment. Blues & Burritos

Come join us at the 14th Annual Blues & Burritos, hosted by Homesley & Wingo Law Group on Friday, September 19 and be entertained by Pat Mother Blues Cohen, Max Drake and Shelia Carlisle as special guest performers joining the Part Time Blues BandAdmission is free and an a portion of all donations will benefit LNWC. Next Educational Program

Our next educational program "Fishing on Lake Norman" will be held on Thursday, October 9, starting at 7:00 PM at the Mooresville Public Library. Our speaker will be Capt. Craig Price, a fishing guide with over 40 years experience fishing the Catawba River Lakes.
